Ok I am going to start off by saying I hate when I do not connect with characters in a book. Reckless Soul happens to be one of these times. I did enjoy parts of this story, but in the end this story just fell short for me.
We pick up where book 1 leaves off with Reckless Soul. We get Nyx’s story and why he is so broody. Ella is a beautiful intelligent young woman whose life is anything but what people see on the outside.
The reason for the 3 stars is the book kinda drug in parts for me. I know we needed to get the full backstory for both of our MC’s and I appreciate that, but there were parts that were just stale for me. I did enjoy the story and I love these two got their HEA, but this one was just not for me.
