Michelle Heard has absolutely blown me away!
Defiant Heir is a book you could never see coming. Michelle beautifully delivers emotional blow after blow with Kao and Fallon’s story all while making you fall deeper and deeper in love with these characters. I ugly cried my way to happiness with this book. The second you pick this book up you’re thrust immediately into a story so full of love, strength, healing, family, and hope you’ll be unable to put it down.
I don’t know that I have ever adored a couple more than I have these two. Even during the darkest of times, their love is like a bright light still cutting through all the pain. You can feel how much Fallon and Kao truly love each other on every single page.
