WHAT IN THE ACTUAL #$$%!!!! I get today is Thanksgiving, and I completely understand family is important, BUT I couldn’t put this book down wants I picked it up. CoraLee June hads outdone herself with this one. I feel completely and utterly emotionally drained.
I don’t even know how I am going to word this review with all the emotions I am dealing with right now. Damn you CoraLee! Damn you!……. These characters and story were so well written you feel everything and I mean EVERYTHING for these characters, especially Vera. She has always been the good girl and done what was expected of her until the day she laid eyes on Hamilton Beauregard. Hamilton is what many would consider the blacksheep of his affluent family.
There are secrets and lies that will leave you with your mouth hanging open. So may twist and turns that will leave you speechless. The manipulation that takes place made me feel so angry I wished I could reach through my kindle to bitch slap a few people.
Now with all this being said please know this ending will leave you hanging, but have no fear the next book will be out before we know it.
