This book is so heartbreakingly beautiful. I know, I know it doesn’t make any sense to you but trust me truer words have never been spoken. It has everything every great mafia book has. We get one hot made man, a sassy as hell heroine, and one hell of a love story that will tear your heart out before it even begins to piece back together.
I am sitting here trying to figure out just what to say about this book. I do not want to give anything away, and refuse to give spoilers. I feel that no matter what I say will not do this book any kind of justice. These two authors have done an amazing job at writing a story that will captivate you.
Eden and Romeo have loved each other for years. Romeo being an assassin extracting information by any means necessary, and Eden being the dutiful mafia wife. Their love story is far from hearts and flowers. It is full of heartache, secrets, and lies.
I could not put this book down once I started. From the very first page I was pulled in, and I may have blocked everything and everyone out while I read it. The storyline is engaging and so well written. What I mean by that is the authors did an amazing job that you will feel each and every emotion written.
