Uhhhhh where do I even begin this review?? Hayley you have woven a story that truly pulled me in from the first page. I have loved every book in this series and this book is no different. I enjoy a good mafia read, but Hayley you write great mafia books that always tell an enthralling tale.
Massimo and Pippa’s story has so many turns in it. The uphill battle they fight from the very first page will have you fighting for them. Love does not come or happen easily and these two characters and we get to enjoy the ride of watching them as they find each other. Pippa is a strong heroine who blossoms from a naïve young lady into one bad a$$ mafia wife. Her backbone and sassiness is what keeps her from going under. Massimo is the typical mafia made man or so you are made to think. There are many layers to him and there is no one better to peel those layers away than Pippa.

I cannot get enough of Hayley Faiman’s Mafia men. I’m fully addicted to the Zanetti Famiglia. As in these are repeated re-reads for me. Becoming the Street Boss is raw, passionate, and as heartbreaking as it is heart healing. Pippa and Massimo are a couple that have a relationship I can’t even begin to describe. Calling it a roller coaster seems like an understatement.
They have more hurdles than I could ever have predicted and while their road is certainly rocky the feelings they have for each other hold strong through it all. Time and distance mean nothing when it comes to what exists between these two. The passion, the heat, the love, it all overpowers what life throws their way and I could not get enough. I was up way past my bedtime devouring this unputdownable read.

“My smiles?” I ask.
He grins, though it doesn’t reach his eyes, and I vow to myself that one day it will. I’ll make his smile reach those dark eyes. I’ll make him belly laugh the way that Carlo did. I’ll give him beautiful laugh crinkles next to his eyes and gorgeous lines around his mouth.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
As an only child, Hayley Faiman had to entertain herself somehow. She started writing stories at the age of six and never really stopped.
Born in California, she met her now husband at the age of sixteen and married him at the age of twenty in 2004. After all of these years together, he’s still the love of her life.
Hayley’s husband joined the military and they lived in Oregon, where he was stationed with the US Coast Guard. They moved back to California in 2006, where they had two little boys. Recently, the four of them moved out to the Hill Country of Texas, where they adopted a new family member, a chocolate lab named Optimus Prime.
Most of Hayley’s days are spent taking care of her two boys, going to the baseball fields for practice, or helping them with homework. Her evenings are spent with her husband and her nights—those are spent creating alpha book boyfriends.
