Heather’s 🎩🎩🎩.75 hat review:
A strong 3.75 stars.
In His we pick up right where Mine left off. Lev and Kat have a lot to live for and a lot to fight for. We get action, suspense, and of course sweet sweet, sweet bloody revenge. In this book we get more of the family vibe. We also get the budding very intense relationship between Lev and Kat. The heat aspect is minimal, but I feel that has more to do with how the three of them interact as a family unit. I adored all the scenes with Lev, Kat, and Josh. They helped keep the story from being so dark, and trust me there are some very dark places in this book. Lev is a man of honor and will do anything to protect his family. What he does to make sure they are safe just proves what kind of loyal and honorable man he is.
Now the reason for just 3.75 stars. I felt the climax was kinda rushed. With so many questions that needed answered, I felt some were a little rushed over others. Of course this is just my opinion and I understand many may not agree, but there was one little twist I thought was just accepted no questions asked.
Ari’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:
A. Zavarelli and Knight has me on the eve of seat while reading HIS, the conclusion to their Ties That Bind duet. It was twist, turns, and plenty of action from the start that kept me glued to Kindle. I loved Kat and Lev’s story so much and these two continued to just give me all the feels. Watching how these two authors pieced together such an amazing puzzle of a story was enthralling! I couldn’t look away even if I’d tried. So freaking good. Now I pray to the audio gods that this duet makes it to audiobook because that would be a whole other type of amazing. 5 stars.
