I was equally frustrated and in love with Garrett. The man was oblivious to what was right in front of him. So completely dedicated to being a good dad every thing else just seemed to slip right under his radar, including Devlyn. Despite the fact I occasionally felt like kicking him, once he opened his eyes the love he felt for Devlyn was seriously wonderful. But that didn’t make for instant smooth sailing.
Devlyn on the other hand stole my heart. I hurt for all she went through just for loving Garrett and his daughter, but it showed just how incredibly strong and how deep she loved them both. With a perfect balance of swoony sweetness and angsty drama that keeps you glued to the pages this was one unputdownable read!

As far as dates go, this one has been good. I like her. She’s attractive, funny, smart, seems to have her head on straight. All the boxes are checked. This should be the point where I kiss her, ask her out again. I should be devising ways to get in this woman’s panties, but instead I’m thinking more about yanking down the tutu of one very sexy Biscuit Girl. I should be thinking about how to get this woman to fall for me, but it’s me that’s fallen. I should have one thing on my mind, and I do — Devlyn.
